Kim is playing divide and conquer, split South Korea from the US. Do deals with the South and make Trump look like an idiot (not difficult to be fair).

I predict Trump says something wildly inappropriate, Kim uses it as an excuse to storm out blaming the US, "we acted in good faith and look how they treat us" etc and looking to the South as an ally as a step to removing US influence.
