This is the EU that made significant compromises to agree a withdrawal agreement with the UK, that the UK won't now sign up to.

A bit contradictory don't you think. The EU made an agreement with itself and someone claiming to represent the UK call Mrs. T. May. That individual's claim to represent the UK has since looked to be over stated.

Mrs T May is the prime minister. It's not the EU's fault she can't land it. Are you suggesting that the EU should have negotiated directly with parliament?

In any case it's not the EU which is walking away from the negotiations.

No, he's suggesting that the elected Prime Minister of the UK and her negotiating team should not be allowed to negotiate because they do not represent something or other.
Maybe it should have been Farage, Stephen Yaxley-Lennon and Jacob Ree-Smog?

You can walk away after negotiations have failed. You don’t walk away before attempting to negotiate.

Imagine going into a car dealer and asking them the price of a car. They say £69,950 and you say “no” and walk out the door.
            You have failed at negotiating.

Walk in, ask the price, discuss options, consider what you can bargain with, consider what they can bargain with. They might not be able to throw in many upgrades to the build of the car, but they could throw in mats & flaps and maybe free servicing, etc.
If, after negotiating, where both sides have discussed what they want/can offer, that you know you’ll get a better deal elsewhere, then walk away after negotiating.

Proper summits never run before everything is agreed - only moron like Trump would do otherwise, but then again he isn't doing it for a result, just for PR.

This time next year Trump will be facing jail, so Kim knows that fraud is spent power.
