How do you extend a Put?Scoots still says that Apr 2020 didn't mark the start of a new stock bull market. -

You are joking, right?Originally posted by scooterscot View PostAs mentioned before, the trade is entirely technical. For whatever reason predicted current price action is unconcerned with the news.
The Put remains active and I extended through until the end of November. Sure I mentioned that before.
What is NAV?
AS for your Put ... you've extended to Nov .... yeah right. This option has been open already for 2 months, and now you claim to have extended for 2 more. The premium on this will be quite significant .... want to clarify how much?I am what I drink, and I'm a bitter man

Ok, so these are your options when a put approaches expiry ...Originally posted by scooterscot View PostThe Put remains active and I extended through until the end of November. Sure I mentioned that before.
Yet you say your Put is still active - do you mean your original Put, or you have opened a new Put as your original Put expired? As an option approaches expiry, there are three choices to be made: sell the option, exercise the option, or let the expiration expire.
Given you say you have extended (something I don't believe you can do) then your original Put expired (and you lost your premium) and you have now opened a new Put with a new Premium.
Just so we have a chance to understand you ... how much Premium did you lose on the first Put that is now Expired, and how much is your Premium to open a new Put for the next 2 months?
Given you're happy to give us your investment numbers for LBG then you should be equally happy to let us know your Premiums for these Put options.I am what I drink, and I'm a bitter man
