      The release from my broker focused on the fact banks are far less extended than they were in 2008 and therefore the economy is fundamentally in a better place.
      They are phrasing this in terms of the economy being "on hold" rather than "screwed", with all the measures
      put in place. And of course the lengths governments are going to has calmed people to an extent.

      That's their position anyway. Doesn't seem unreasonable though there is little on which to make any predictions when it's a novel situation.

          That assumes the future is the same as it was. What I suspect is that a lot of companies are going to discover they can work from home just fine so no longer need all the office space nor all the people that might have filled it before.

                  Deutsche is exposed in the derivatives market many times their capital.

                  HSBC is at risk of collapsing. If they do, there goes the paper Gold ETF's, the majority of where paper gold funds rest.
