Anyone else got a FTSE pick they believe will do well in the months ahead?
Why would I share my future gambling, I mean investment, strategy with someone who doesn't share his? You're not even willing to share a bet, sorry investment, put option that you have made.

I get that you need help, but my time is money so you would need to pay for my expert advice

Did you factor in dividends, otherwise, what use is the chart.

And compounding, if the divis are used to buy extra shares in BP.

To help him, here is a link to the divis BP have paid over the years : https://www.bp.com/content/dam/bp/bu...areholders.pdf

Maybe he can pretend he purchased £10k of shares on 1st Jan 2000 and re-invested divis into news shares and see what that would look like

I inherited my Dad's shares in BP, he used to reinvest the dividends which is why I ended up with a rather strange amount of shares. I've just changed from payment of dividends to reinvesting too. Should be a nice little nest-egg for my little boy when he's older.

I don't think he wants to talk about that.

If it does expire in a few weeks, and the strike price is below 5000, then the decay must be really starting to bite.

Pure guess but I wouldn't be surprised if he's already down over $100,000.
Scoots still says that Apr 2020 didn't mark the start of a new stock bull market.

What price education though? At least this way he might learn that charting is backward looking, the markets are forward looking.

By not talking about this, when he was so gung-ho about the market dropping and his put option originally, he's now losing what little respect people on here had for him.

At scootie's remedial secondary school and pretend university? Quite high, it seems.
