Keep on posting I say. I don't know every trick in the book, and like that linked article mentions, I don't deal with agents regularly enough to keep my wits about me when they come a-calling.Comment

Do those kind of tricks work on seasoned contractors though? Sure, newbie contractors will fall for them, but once you've been scammed once you tend to wise up.
Personally, I've taken to filtering out anything agents tell me. What I need is some kind of babel fish agent speak <-> truth translator.Comment

It doesn't matter how good he made the job sound, he has already lost my trust becaues he has admitted breaking the golden rule of putting me forward without asking first. (and boy, do agents who break this rule really p1ss me off)
