Leaving my own political views aside, the US Congress acknowledged this 20 years ago, it was part Trump's manifesto, ergo he did what he promised - the right thing to do. Nice to see a politician keeping their word for a change.

So not the "right thing to do" then. Just a politician keeping a campaign promise that was ill thought out and was pandering to people who don't understand the issues as well as the Israeli lobby. The "right thing to do" would be to try and move the peace process forward via a two state solution. The wrong thing to do would be to destabilise the region, put peace even further out of reach and put people's lives at risk.
