    Welcome To Slum Britain 2017

    linky

Four London councils have housed 84 families in a converted office block in an industrial estate called Connect House in Mitcham.

Residents say hundreds of lorries drive past every day, causing terrible pollution that is affecting the health of their children.

One resident says the location is so remote an ambulance was unable to get to her while she was in labour - forcing her to give birth in a car park.

How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't think

Main problem is that we, the tax payer, are paying for that tulip unlike the people who have beds in sheds.

A converted office block. The fumes can't be that bad if it was once deemed fit to accommodate office workers for 40 hours per week.

Actually it is why the office block ended up being empty.

It is close to Mitcham Tram station so there is public transport access.

Even better. Some poor sods are on one bus a day into town at best.

I think they are moaning because they are placed in Mitcham.

I guess New Addington or Thorton Heath is considered better by them.

I have friends in Mitcham, there is a nice park & the common a large number of shops. There are much worse places in London.

alternatively you could move to Motorway view the delightful village built below slough on the M4

                  Or Staines under the M25.
