Sorry, not acceptable. Genesis to Revelation is Old Testament, which was written (if you believe that sort of thing) before Jesus was born. I think the congregation is looking for some New Testament evidence of the divinity of Jesus, since the Gospels are supposed to be a contemporary account of Jesus's life. See, it's not that difficult.

I could pull quotes from millions of autobiographys where somebody has said "I Am". Does that mean they are all the son/daughter of god as well???

Do you even understand the passages that you quote? There is nothing in that passage that supports Jesus proclaiming his own divinity.

Clue: "My Father" is the same as "My Lord" in the original language. The Lord's prayer goes "Our Father who art in heaven", meaning "Our Lord", same thing.

So then you read the most telling quote "If I glorify myself, my glory means nothing. My Father, whom you claim as your God, is the one who glorifies me." and you realise it's meaning is not what you claim - in fact it's almost the opposite.

Paraphrased it means "If I glorify myself, then I'm going to look a real idiot. The God I worship, who is supposed to be the same as the one you worship, is the one that glorifies me, indeed He glorifies everyone"

In other words he's saying that they shouldn't stone him because his relationship with God is essentially the same as the Jews - they believe in the same thing so what's the point.

Your lack of understanding or your own religion, and the history of it, is very disappointing...
