I think herein lies the implied problem with Chico's logic - he assumes that to have reasoning you must somehow 'get it' from someone else, rather than the much harder concept for him to grasp, wait for it, actually reason it out for yourself.Originally posted by ChicoWhat a load of crock sort of reasoning you get from Dawkins like bigoted atheists.
Find it funny Chico calling someone else a bigot, when he regularily proves this to be one of his least Christian attributes.Hang on - there is actually a place called Cheddar?? - cailin maith

Chico you do know that some people think that you're an invention by a bored mind somewhere? The reason being that you're too stupid to be true? Are you not a teensy-weensy bit embarassed by that?
PS Going back to the subject of the thread, why not read the Dawkins book and come back with YOUR thoughts on the matter? It's a cracking read by the way. I have ordered 6 copies as Christmas presents, so we can spread the good word.
Perhaps I should call them Yuletide presents ...Hard Brexit now!

Ode to an Atheist
He saw the sunset
And admired the scenery
His conscience twigged
The beauty was awesome
Wow
Why
How
Who
When
What
Could it..?
surely not
But it must
Can it...?
If so that means...
No
No
He closed his eyes
He closed his mind
Pride seeped in
Reason, logic and hope
sent away
forever?
I pray notSola gratia
