An old colleague of mine went up to vote on Sunday - he was going to vote "blank" as though he is pro-independence, he thinks the Catalonian government was behaving like an arsey asinine donkey. Having been chased away from one polling station by the police, he managed to cast his ballot in another - and voted "yes".

It is hard to see how the Spanish could screw this up any more.
Besides the unrecognition of the use of excessive force, they are prosecuting the Catalan police for not cooperate with National and Civil Guards...this because they opted to protect the Catalans.
Spain is planning to finish the Catalan Police integrating them in Guarda Civil or National Police.
