In halal, the whole throat including trachea and jugular are severed. They're practically beheaded.

Also even when they are stunned it's a lighter stun in case the animal is inadvertently killed before being cut - hence why captive bolt (easily the most humane method) isn't allowed.

That's simply because it doesn't get much airing in public like anything Moslem related.

As against Good ole non-halal British throat cut or the one in the chest. Or the bolt through the brain, that ones nice.

Neither option particularly pleasant for the animal but no one really knows what the animal feels, and let's face it nobody cares unless we don't get our burgers or bacon or some agenda starts due to current sentiments.

Captive bolt and the animal drops instantly. Seen it done many times - I'm from a farming family.

Halal & the animal writhes in agony for several minutes while it exsanguinates. Seen that done too, unfortunately.

No it is one of the reasons; I'm literally telling you that's why I'm against it - as others have stated before me in this thread, yet you're too thick to acknowledge it as being a valid reason, pulling the old Islamic apologist stance.

Plenty of people are against intensive farming...

I am not thick. I know what you are literally telling me but I don't believe you. Why is it that we always hear about halal but not other animal welfare considerations? Especially from people who use phrases like 'pulling the old Islamic apologist stance'. From what I see I would judge that you are a bigot using animal welfare as a cover. It is a fairly standard BNP trick as well.

You do not seen to be very bright yourself as you think I am an apologist for halal slaughter methods when I am against any killing of animals for food.

Yet you have no problems routinely getting your lips round the old pork sausage. I mean make your mind up FFS!
