What a top thread.
Some contractors on here may have built a slaughter house or three in their career!
It is clear that some posters have some knowledge of livestock and how "animals" are processed. .
Halal, Kosher, Non-blessed......if you eat the flesh of "animals", to what level can we be sanctimonious.
Have seen the welfare of animals raised notably over the years. Which is to be encouraged.
Anybody eat New Zealand Lamb. What proportion do you think is deemed Halal?

Damnit
I thought this was one thread sure to avoid degrading into a Brexit catfight.

You want an answer?Originally posted by woohoo View PostAhhh, you see, no answers when someone calls out your negativity. I've asked you this question before, silence.
OK, the UK will suffer economically because of uncertainty in the short-term, and because the longer term trading agreements will be less advantageous than the UK currently enjoys. This will in impact adversely the services industry in particular, which of course includes financial services.

woohoo - Why you are worried abt EU, let them do what ever they want to do. Single Army/nation/President...None of our business.Originally posted by woohoo View PostHow is it a **** up, really. We leave, still sell to eu and make trade deals with other countries if we want. Businesses that sell to eu still have to abide by sm regs. Businesses that don't sell to eu can disregard regs.
More control over movement and migration.
Eu moves closer to a political union, bit more protectionist though.
Goods from outside eu become cheaper etc.
All good stuff.
What I am not understanding is why Mrs TM who want to leave this ugly bunch still want a 2 year transition period..? Earliest we get into this so called heaven that is better right..???

Never thought I'd see the day when I'd agree with NLUK, but there we go. I would add that it's an international disgrace, and also a local community failure. The paucity of prosecutions and lack of convictions is indeed a national disgrace.
