Bugger, it was the thought that counts!

Well you are, but this site is rather keen on banning people for having views they don't like, so I'd rather keep my gob shut and stay on it

To answer the other point, yes I have. But (and this reply can go to OP as well) I have actually been spending my time writing a stock market trading system, so I am actually fairly busy.
Trouble is that to get a robust system in place that isn't going to go wrong and inadvertently spend your life savings, you have to build it to be fairly robust. And that has taken me much longer than I thought it would.

And that's before considering whether it can actually make any money.

But it is quite interesting and absorbing, and I have learned C# programming on the way, which might be of some use (although I think it's all indians now doing coding isn't it?)

BTW have you ever thought of doing any sort of volunteer work? There is a massive variety out there for various time commitments and varying skills.

For example if you do a sport you can help out with events, if you drink real ale then there is stuff you can do for CAMRA, if you are good at gardening/environmental stuff there are stuff you can do for that etc.
Good call. Sort someone else's shoes or food and you get a new appreciation of how good your life is.

Also as a seasoned PM have you thought of lecturing?

Plenty of PM training courses need to be taught!

Chap who taught my Prince course had part retired and flew over from Spain/Greece to teach & stay at a nice hotel with his wife (who shopped while he lectured) for a week or two. I suspect most of his earnings went on nice meals & his wife's Harrods charge card but he seemed happy enough.

Have you thought of troubleshooting? Plenty of death march projects you can save from Suity's sweet embrace.

Depends on your views and most importantly how you express them.

If you are like the idiot FrontToBack then you are too stupid to indulge in the pleasures of the English language to have "interesting" conversations with people.

Actually that's not what I meant.

Depending on what you volunteer for and do it can happily keep you occupied e.g. sports coaches the UK are frequently volunteers.

If you impact on someone's life positively - and some people you won't know for years or even decades that you have - then you are lucky.

It would be 2 or 3x that for Iraq plus ex Marines body guard. Not for me though. Iraq fails the "somewhere nice" test.

Why would you want to be on a site where you are not allowed to express your distasteful views?
