What difference does the type of software i want to install make? For the sake of argument, let's just say I want to install software to look at 3d pictures of the inside of my butt.

Two big notes up front: UltraHD (4K) playback *ONLY* works on Windows 10, and *ONLY* works if you have a latest-generation Intel (7th generation, "Kaby Lake") CPU. The included software and manuals are Japanese-language, although the software does support English as well.

I assume that the little sticker that says i7 refers to 7 th generation kaby lake, whatever that is.

Why playing for laughs? I don't understand your humour.

You firstly lied and claimed it was the government who were forcing you to install software
Then you said it was software to do your accounts
Then you said it was Office
Then you said it doesn't matter and get upset that we would dare try to help you.

Virtually all software these days is downloadable.

I.e. You don't have a clue, but you want a way of justifying using your gaming laptop to watch UHD videos at home and claiming it as a business expense.

But if you really are as stupid as you claim in these posts, you shouldn't be working in IT.
Are you American by any chance?

What? Burn like you would burn a blank disk in an optical drive, or rename him TorchBrain, then send him to Dubai?

Thanks. That's the second most sensible suggestion you've made, since at least it would enable me to look at the pictures of my butt.

I'll probably go for the Japanese thing though, because it can hopefully show higher resolutions and 3d and I don't want to have to carry around two separate drives (or is that four because you idiots think I should buy separate drives for business and personal use?).

I wish the stupid laptop had just come with a disc drive and I never had to ask.

I know I'm pushing my luck after nearly getting banned for not knowing the model number of my laptop, but I'm starting to wonder if there isn't something seriously wrong with you people...

                Goodbye.
