Slimming world works, you can eat real food and have a little wine / beer / chocolate / (or whatever your preferred treat is) if you want to. Don't have to go to the meetings if you don't want. Can get a lot of recipes online without joining if you really don't want to pay anything.
But you get to eat real food and it's easy to follow once you get into it which is the difference to most diets.Comment

Anything that gets you thinking about what you are eating is good. I use MyFitnessPal and enter everything I eat. I almost fell off my chair when I saw how many calories were in dominos pizza!!!! I use it to restrict myself to approx 2k calories a day. It is actually quite fun. You can get calories back if you exercise but I turn this off other people like it though.Comment
