already said it before but my views aren't politically correct and dismissed immediately. If they won't reform themself we will have problems over coming decades, thats the sad fact.Originally posted by PurpleGorilla View PostWhat reform would you like to see?
We had our Martin Luther , they should have theirs.
I don't trust any of them if they need to consult on god or imam on every part of their lives.Last edited by diseasex; 5 June 2017, 10:00.Comment

I think we need to draw a line in the sand and give them the freedom to follow their religion within certain parameters - i.e. within the boundaries defined by the mores of a liberal, western society.Originally posted by PurpleGorilla View PostWhat reform would you like to see?
And apply the same rules to all religions.
e.g. No Sharia courts, no religious slaughter and come down hard on the stuff that's already supposedly outlawed e.g. female genital mutilation.Comment

I would also like to see the segregation of women and men in mosques made illegal.
What about faith schools? Ban the lot?Comment

Sharia courts - maybe allow specialist lawyers to advise in areas where Justice can be served in an alternate way in our courts, we have jewish courts acting in an advisory capacity.Originally posted by Pip in a Poke View PostI think we need to draw a line in the sand and give them the freedom to follow their religion within certain parameters - i.e. within the boundaries defined by the mores of a liberal, western society.

I am not sure whether Halal slaughter is pain free as stunning. If it can be proved it is, then I have no objection to it.
Agree completely that any criminal activities should be prosecuted without favour.Comment

I think at the end of the day it is about respecting everybody else around you and having a bit of modesty and discretion.

if you knew anything about islam is it controls every part of their lives. From how to pee, poo, walk through the door etc to obviously 5 prayers a day. That just doesn't seem healthy to me, borderline of psychosis... Unhealthy to the point they decide to blow themself and other people up.Originally posted by PurpleGorilla View Posthow is that any different to a Roman Catholic seeing their priest?
On any criticism they react with immediate agression , and in countries in middle east with killing of christians revolts etc.Last edited by diseasex; 5 June 2017, 10:19.Comment
