Nazi Germany did something similar with Jews in the pre-Holocaust phase of persecution.

But their motives were entirely different, i.e. to marginalize the Jews rather than just keep them on their toes with financial disincentives to tolerate terrorists among them.

So what would you suggest, bearing in mind that if this kind of thing goes on too long then sooner or later people will start proposing and agreeing much less palatable solutions than the tried and tested one I proposed?

Fok me, the only reason I didn't go to this concert was it was colliding with my gf trip to poland and no friends wanted to come. :S

been to arena before though, security is laughable, no backpacks checked etc whilst thousands inside....... When I was there few times I thought, damn the security of this place is crap and it's disaster waiting to happen...

Yep no body check , just pass through, endless stream of people , albeit mostly teenagers but dodgy looking bearded muslim ****s too. one security guard just checking tickets and that's it.

if a gun was sneaked that day it would have been many more victims. Lucky that cretin killed himself.

If you've been a few times then you'd know that the explosion was in the box office area outside the actual arena at the top of the stairs. Security are not going to check the bags of everybody going through that area. I've been there plenty of times and my wife generally gets her bag checked. All big events are an easy target. It's easy for a single nutter to hide in a crowd of thousands.

So what are you asking for? Airport like scanners at the doors? Presumably this would also be needed at football grounds and any other event that attracts a certain number of people.

Corbyn supported Sinn Fein's then strategy to bomb Northern Ireland out of the UK. As far as I can tell, he would still happily put British citizens, whether they be in Northern Ireland, Falklands or Gibraltar, behind people in his own interest groups, namely those who aren't British citizens. He's aiming to become PM of the United Kingdom.

As far as I am aware the Saudi government hasn't a policy, direct or otherwise, of sending ISIS bombers to Britain for its own gain. Whether May should be involved with the Saudis is a totally different conversation.
