I wonder what that could be. Early GE (major back-peddle), TM resigning on health grounds, military action. Must be something significant to warrant a public statement after a meeting of Cabinet.

Possibly, although I think you'd have heard something concrete from the US first. She's just returned from a walking holiday. The sort of time spent mulling the big questions about life, the universe and everything. My money would be on something about TM. Could be nothing, of course, but it would be highly unusual to make a public announcement about nothing

I'd be surprised if it's an early GE. She needs a 2/3 majority vote from MP's for that and too many are going to be worried about their seats after the referendum. Only other way is following a vote of no confidence, and that hasn't happened.
