No, I don't think it is actually. I think it is separate from the EU.

Same as the ECHR which we are staying in...

It's telling that you see 'europe' and 'eu' as synonymous - but they are not.

Moot point now though, we will have exactly zero.

Also if your kids are interested in a career in space, forget it, we stop being part of the European Space Agency too.
And a small country like Brtiain will not be able to have its own space entity, it's too expensive.
Yup. Isle of Man beat the mainland to it.
      You're awesome! Get yourself a t-shirt.

        I understand the difference.
        Let's see what happens.
I suppose all these things are up in the air now and membership of the ESA could be a bargaining chip, if they so chose it to be.
        Hard Brexit now!

            https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_Medicines_Agency

The European Medicines Agency (EMA) is a European Union agency for the evaluation of medicinal products. Prior to 2004, it was known as the European Agency for the Evaluation of Medicinal Products (EMEA).[1]
Switzerland for example has a separate agency.

They are indeed. We will take our football and go play with new friends if the EU wants to get vindictive.

                    Is it?

The MauveMonkey is partly right, in that we will be staying. But not without consequences...

""As soon as it (Britain) is leaving the EU it is not participating in these programmes any longer," said Bruston.

Furthermore, UK-based companies hold contracts worth tens of millions of euros from ESA to supply hardware for Copernicus as well as the Galileo satnav system, a rival to America's GPS.

"If nothing changes (and Brexit goes ahead), we would have to stop these contracts," said Bruston.

So that article suggests we are not leaving the ECHR until May campaigns for it in a GE.

And it wasn't in the a50 letter.

So right here, right now, we ain't leaving the ECHR without a mandate.
