It would be an insult to use that rag as toilet paper. Sorry bum but you know it's true.

The world stage would look towards the UK somewhat differently if May denies Scotland a referendum. If May says we expected everyone to recognise our referendum but we cannot not be expected to recognise Scotland's referendum in spite of how Scotland voted in the EU referendum it'll be the end of the UK really. No better than a dictator.

you had one , you lost. We aren't depriving you of a referendum we are just saying we won't waste money on another because your last one was 2 years ago.

You have already been told the by the EU that the EU won't want you if you vote out.

        Interesting article here:

The five charts that show how economically risky Scottish independence would be

One of the target metrics the EU enforces on its members is for each state to aim for a budget deficit of no more than 3pc of GDP.

Scotland is a terrible performer in this regard, spending £1,200 a head more than the rest of the UK and receiving £400 per head less.

The Scottish government's latest annual estimate puts the country's deficit at £15bn or 9.5pc of GDP. This would be comfortably the worst score for any EU member state.

Scotland may have to prove it can reduce this deficit before EU membership becomes a possibility and this would take time.
The inevitable problem of any government with a socialist bent. Without the rest of the UK to prop them up via the Barnet formula it is likely to get worse.

The electorate was lied to. By the media and then no. 10, promising to implement the Scotland bill. They've had two years and done nothing.

Here it starts. And quoting the Tory graph of all papers.

There is no reason why the economy of Scotland cannot be adjusted to similar like Iceland or Norway. No reason whatsoever.

What is certain is the risk to the economy when Scotland is dragged over the Brexit cliff edge against the will of the majority by a party they did not vote for. You say that anywhere else and people thing you're living in Zimbabwe.

I hope the Scots know what they are doing.
That sounds pretty much like Brexit... no idea what will happen if we leave, or if it'll be good or bad, but do it anyway and hope for the best.

The cuts combined with tax increases would mean riots.

People still honestly believe we fund the UK, when the penny dropped that it was all lies there would be chaos.

                      Poll tax riots

The majority of people in Scotland know how evil the Tories can be.
