It definitely makes sense a referendum is delayed until the terms of Brexit have been at least hammered out, even if Brexit hasn't happened. In theory if there's a gap between agreeing terms and actually leaving that would be a great time to do it so everything is known before anything happens.

You do realise that Autumn 2018-Spring 2019 is 18-24 months from now, don't you ? So, if A50 is triggered in this month, then we will be at a minimum, 18 months into the 24 month A50 negotiating period. So are all the terms going to be hammered out in the last 24 hours then ?

I'm sensing In Europe a wall of apathy with regard to the Brexit negotiations. No-one discusses it apart from expat Brits obviously, most of which is "have you got your European citizenship sorted out" and there are no talk shows about it.
