Wouldn't work as most assets are tied up in something whether that is a house or a business, would lead to a financial crisis. Unbelievable they're actually seriously thinking of it. If they do want a wealth tax it would have to be a fraction of a percent as it is in France.

Not sure we need to be worried about it.

In the rediculously unlikely event that a Corbyn/McDonnell government comes to power (TBH, even if May completely ****s up Brexit, I don't see Corbyn winning a General Election), if they are planning a grab on the top 10% (thus forcing most to sell their homes), then most (all?) MPs would be caught anyway and I don't see those particular Turkeys voting for christmas.
