Free will - such a wonderful get-out clause.
Chico, if someone decided to pop a cap through your skull, would God intervene and save you ?
Originally posted by ChicoI actually agree with you. Suffering was never part of God's plan for man and it still is not. Genesis 1 and 2 tell us of a perfect creation. Genesis 3 tells us perfect man expressing his free will deciding to say to God thanks but no thanks. Well if we ask God to move out of our lives how then can weblame him when it all goes wrong. Sin always causes someone to suffer, Adam and Eve's sin has brought spritual death, decay, pain, evil, suffering and eventually phyiscal death for us all. That was never God's perfect will for us. He allowed it because anything else who would have meant we did not have free will in the first place.Comment

The atheist mindset is so amusing to behold. Throw logic, reason and facts out of the window and say what you want, do what you want and sod the consequences. Everything goes, everything except belief in God. What is it with these self styled atheists?Sola gratia

What have logic, reason and facts got to do with your 'debate' so far? You've displayed none of the aforementioned. Quoting a few bible verses at us, whilst ignoring many valid points, to quote even more biblical verses at us doesn't count as debate. It's not even amusing, if your cause is to somehow convert people then you have to actually attempt to engage peopel's questions. I'm pretty sure Jesus did.Originally posted by ChicoThe atheist mindset is so amusing to behold.
