Oh well, each to their own. I think Kris Marshall would have made an excellent Doctor.“The period of the disintegration of the European Union has begun. And the first vessel to have departed is Britain” -
Do they have a racist, misogynistic character in the show yet?Originally posted by shaunbhoy View PostOh well, each to their own. I think Kris Marshall would have made an excellent Doctor.Comment

No, but if they are ever looking for a sexually-frustrated, car-crashing, squirrel-botherer, I am sure they will give you a tinkle!Originally posted by AtW View PostDo they have a racist, misogynistic character in the show yet?

Playing the weird flatmate in those rubbish BT ads was probably his finest work.Originally posted by shaunbhoy View PostOh well, each to their own. Capaldi's a fine actor. He was let down by crappy scripts and an assistant who overstayed her welcome by about 2 series.Originally posted by Dark Black View PostCould be interesting - definitely give her a go (fnarr fnarr). Stopped watching when Capaldi became the Dr - couldn't stand him.
Exactly.Originally posted by TheCyclingProgrammer View Post...casting alone will not improve the show. The writing needs to improve dramatically. Here's to a fresh start...Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!Comment

I agree with you. The scripts are awful but there seems to be a market for it.Originally posted by NotAllThere View PostCapaldi's a fine actor. He was let down by crappy scripts and an assistant who overstayed her welcome by about 2 series.
