Although I don't look for them, so far I've benefited for mergers/takeovers four times in the past year, yielding some tidy profits. Baxalta (US), Syngenta (CH), Actelion (CH), and ARM (UK). Actelion R&D is going to be spun off as a separate company running by the Actelion founders. Might be a good company to invest in. Not sure that J&J will be such a good punt.
