He could be filmed being buggered by a Rhinoceros for all I care. Can't say anything like that would affect my vote for a politician. Totally irrelevant. Common sense, practical policies that put their own citizens first are what matters.

PS Being open to blackmail is a different matter of course.

Given the supposed stuff surrounding the Clintons, this is soft porn by comparison.

Although the Watersportsgate allegations are the most eye-catching, the really important things (which I summarised with the words "and there's more") are the allegations that, for example, the Trump campaign paid East European hackers provided by the Russian security services for the Democratic emails hack; that senior figures in the Trump campaign secretly met with members of the Russian security services to plan the leaking of documents from hacking (aka collaborating with a foreign power to alter the course of an election, which could be considered treason under US law); and that Trump agreed to make the Republicans change their stance on Ukraine as a service to Putin, in return for the Russians passing the Democratic emails to Wikileaks.

The last of those is of particular significance because the memo is dated before Trump adopted a pro-Russian position on Ukraine and pressured the Republicans to do the same. So that is an instance of one of the memos stating that sources said Trump would do a specific thing out of indebtedness to Putin, which he did do shortly afterwards.

            And there's more…

Some of the problems with that - apart from the pretty humongous one of being from 4chan - are:
              • 4chan claim that their made-up stuff from last year was passed to the CIA who were fooled by it, but the memos in question don't originate from the CIA: they're from a former British intelligence officer who has been a freelance intelligence consultant for many years, and who was originally commissioned (and paid) to find the information in the earliest memos by Republican opponents of Trump in the presidential campaign. The documents were only passed to the US intelligence services later.

              • The screencaps 4chan trolls are circulating that they claim originated there are not, in fact, from the memos in question, nor from any other document relating to the matter: they're just made up, though crafted to look very similar to the memos.

              • The journalist Republican strategist who 4chan claim was responsible for passing the fake 4chan documents from last year to the CIA has denied all knowledge of them. He has been repeatedly targeted by 4chan over the course of the last year with a variety of scurrilous allegations and attacks, presumably because they disapprove of his opinions ("he called Trump supporters 'childless single men who masturbate to anime' last January" according to https://www.buzzfeed.com/anthonycorm...-trump-dossier). The suggestion that he was too stupid to spot 4chan trolling and passed it to the CIA, who believed it, is just another trolling attempt to discredit him and them.

The original documents aren't fake. The information in them has not been verified by other sources, but that's not the same thing as being fake.

No. You did not read my full post.

PS Had a reply from my mate Putin. You're on his list.

Apparently more revelations are coming to light:

The sex worker at the centre of the allegations that Donald Trump paid a prostitute to urinate on a hotel bed used by the Obamas has said that she only did so because the president-elect was ‘too tight’ to pay for her top-tier service known as the ‘Brown Derby.’
