    This is actually not true. Many historical persona from that far back are known to be real, many of who we take their existence as gospel(!) have less historical evidence than Jesus (I do not know if there is historical evidence for Moses or others quite that far back but Gibbon might).

    It doesn't make it true because it's written down or because people believed it back then or because the historical people existed, but it's a bad path to go down "there's no evidence for the existence of X".

        Suppression of free thought
        Misogyny
        Crusade
        Jihad
        Sex abuse
        Patriarchal supremacy
        False hope
        Intolerance of difference
        Slavery
