Sounds like she tried to peddle the same utter bollocks she manages to get away with when talking to the press here to a roomful of competent and experienced political operators. If so, it's hardly surprising that they would find the whole speech so idiotic and lacking any grounding in reality that they'd be too embarrassed on her behalf to say anything. It's like a toddler walking in and proudly presenting a turd it's just produced for the inspection of the guests at a dinner party.

She was right though, for maybe the first time; the sooner she leaves, the better.

Wasn't she the person who refused to guarantee the status of Europeans here just a couple of months ago?
      No wonder they ignored her.
She seems to be fooling the Brexiters as to her competence, but then they're easily fooled.
      Hard Brexit now!

Gesture of good will - works better in negotiations than trying to aggravate the other (much more powerful) side.

And if EU does not reciprocate (seems totally unlikely), then UK can tax higher those EU immigrants who have been kindly allowed to stay in UK.

Usual clueless Tulipe from the whinge bags. You lot really are absolute idiots. It's clear you are all used to working at a junior level and have never negotiated in your lives.

The EU Commission will hangs it people out to dry to preserve its principles. This is one of the reasons so we voted to leave.

The EU doesn't give a feck about individuals yet you still fall at the feet of it. Absolutely brain dead.

Why did you expect them to NOT try to preserve its principles?

Just some months ago May was against Brexit and now (after advisory non-binding referendum) she is Brexitier that Farage

Sticking to ones principles deserves respect even if one disagrees with those principles - being a sell out, without principles - like Cons, that deserves contempt

                    And? So was Jimmy Saville.

Not you then? Basking reflected glory is rather sad.
