You guys are funny as NAT and the other mods would happily insult you all day.

Posters get banned if others flag them up for being sexist, racist etc. Remember this site has an owner and they don't want to get sued.

NAT has dished insults out in the past, not a problem. It's a problem when DA gets a 7-day ban for this when cojak would simply post a reminder that a topic needs to stay in certain levels of decorum.

You and I don't know how many other posters complained about his posts - hence the length of the ban.

In addition if you are rude enough to other posters but manage to escape a ban the mods will send you a message telling you to behave.

Quite an assumption you've made there. Hence the bemusement at the lack of consistent moderating. What you're suggesting could lead to witch-hunts - if we want to get someone banned, we could group together and report posts en masse.

You would have to sign up with a new account as I don't think they would accept moans from you as you give as good as you get.

I generally respect moderating decisions but this one, IMHO, is wrong. Hence me speaking out against it. I see little point of a ban and then someone creating a second account - it's like a footballer getting sent off then coming back on the pitch with a different shirt on.

True - I got one from NAT sometime back. I apologised by message and it was left at that.

I hadn't realised it was only a 7 day ban, in which case let him rot for a few days.

True - I got one from NAT sometime back. I apologised by message and it was left at that.

I got told off By NAT for suggesting a certain EU country produced the people who most frequently got caught hacking ATMs. Something a Police Commissioner had said in public and the arrest figures supported. I jokingly suggested that hiring them for writing ATM software may not be a good idea.

The one I got from Cojak made sense.

2 whole infractions in 15 years.

It only looks wrong to you because you don't know what is going on in the background.
