A glance at the leadership of Trump International reveals that pretty much your only chance of getting a seat on the board if you are female is to have the surname 'Trump'.

Are you suggesting that it should somehow be mandatory to include people of all races, creeds, colours, and genders when pulling together a team of people to work together?

Presumably when buying a pension or seeking medical advice his decision on who to take advice from would be determined by diversity , sustainability and race. Or would different rules apply?

That's a bit of a stretch. Are you saying there are no women or non-whites who could do as good, if not a better job? But I'm not surprised, to Trump 'Making America Great Again' means taking it back to the fifties when the good old Christian white straight men were in charge, women were at home bringing up the kids and minorities knew their place.

But as he is picking the team then it is up to him to stand or fall by his choices, and not feel restrained by having to pander to PC notions of "diversity".

Turnout in the election was lousy, and he lost the popular vote significantly and building a team exclusively of middle aged or older, anti-science, bigoted white men is not going to do much to 'bind the wounds of division' or dispel the notion that he himself has a few unresolved prejudices. By the law of averages appointing people solely on merit should have given him some women or people of colour.

WTF are you going on about?

When you are a president or prime minister of a country you try and make your leadership team inclusive of the population of your country, that way you have one less thing the media both home and abroad whether right or left wing can slag you off about.

Camoron got slagged of from all sides for the number of ex-Etonians in his cabinet.

In addition if you are clever you put some of your political enemies in such a team as it keeps them quiet.
