Yeah, and how is that "inclusive" strategy working for the ruling elites in ever more democracies these days?
Just maybe he has decided to change the comfy modus operandi of recent times? Whether or not it will work or not remains to be seen, but at least it is a change from the elitist systems that are clearly busted flushes.

Very good point, he did alienate a lot, including some Republicans, during the campaign. To be fair his campaign manager is a woman and the head of his domestic transition team is a person of colour, albeit one who believes that homosexuality is a choice that can be 'cured'.

The trouble is that we are forced to accept the tyranny of liberalism and we are not permitted to challenge its orthodoxy. This is why the people of the UK, EU and the USA are rebelling. For a start they are delivering nothing for anyone other than themselves and they are exploiting "the totems" of climate change, diversity etc to put themselves beyond question ("deniers, racists, homphobes you name it) So I am ask the question again to the liberals.

If you have a serious disease or you have a pension both of which would normally require the very best of advice would you:

Go to the person, the most qualified, the one with the best record of success - whatever race, sex or gender that might be or would you

Go to a "specialist" his/her (or "its") who's institution has selected in order to represent the requirements of diversity policies?

'Dad, can we sit on our thrones for the TV Interview'

'Well, OK, but take out the diamonds, we don't want to send the wrong message'

Early signs are that Trump intends to replace the liberal elite, if such a thing existed, with his own elite, further to the Right than most expected and many feared. Have you experienced Breitbart, the website set up by the new presidential strategy advisor, and described by him as 'the platform for alt-Right'?

The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.
PS I see Ivanka monetised her appearance on 60 minutes by promoting the bracelet she wore, available from Ivanka Trump Fine Jewelry for a very reasonable $10,800. Canny lass.

Breitbart the enemy of the liberal left . at least these people are honest about their self serving intentions unlike your lot who hide behind your virtue signalling totems.

                Genuine Breitbart headlines,sadly

The solution to online 'harassment' is simple: Women should log off
Trannies whine about hilarious Bruce Jenner billboard
Birth control makes women unattractive and crazy
("We need the kids if we're to breed enough to keep the Muslim invaders at bay")
Would you rather your child had feminism or cancer?
Gay rights have made us dumber, it's time to get back in the closet

Trump is really trying to build bridges, no?

And the other thing the liberals do is cut and paste words and phrases without any context. So here where an anti liberal publication like Breitbart carefully and cleverly dismantles liberal orthodoxies and totems instead of arguing against them (which they cannot do) they post headlines thinking (wrongly now it seems) that the headlines alone will manipulate people's views and attitudes and bring them under their tyranny of thought.

Trump will probably do quite well as president, that is what is scaring people the most.

The best-qualified, regardless of other factors, obvs. And 'positive discrimination' is largely a myth.

You're missing the point, it is highly unlikely that there are no well-qualified candidates for the cabinet posts in women or the minorities. By excluding them, and selecting people with a history of discriminatory (to put it mildly) language and behaviour, Trump has denied the electorate the service of the 'best qualified' people and put down a marker that could be interpreted as:- minorities can kiss my white *ss.

Maybe people get the Governments they deserve.
