Given the huge numbers of people moving to vaping, I would say the higher taxes have been massively successful in terms of people quitting the cigs; albeit to a questionable alternative.
But I think its a huge win for the government, as they can't be worst than smoking tobacco in the long run, so fewer tobacco related deaths and less strain on the NHS.Comment

Are there not studies showing higher prices DO work?
