The Jurys still very much out on Trump of course but liking the sound of this man.
Defy 'Stalinist' global warming rules, says Trump's economic adviser Stephen Moore | Daily Mail Online
"....few things about the Obama era rankle Moore worse than climate change measures and the shrinking of the American coal mining industry. ‘Obama has put tens of thousands of our coal miners out of work. These are great middle-class workers. Hillary and Obama had this ludicrous idea that the government would build 500million solar panels. What are you talking about? We’ve got the cheapest natural gas in 100 years. We should be producing every single barrel of oil we’ve got, producing as much coal as we can and producing as much natural gas as we can and become an energy superpower.’
As for the Paris Accords on climate change under which governments have agreed to cut carbon emissions, Moore is blunt: ‘That is the stupidest agreement ever. You are not going to solve climate change by government. It happens through technological change, through economic growth and new technologies, not through Stalinistic regulations.’

Bush 1989-1993
Like I say, a post-truth politics. The science is clear, pursuing a Trump (2016 version) policy on burning fossil fuels endangers the very ecosystem that sustains all of us. Hooray for Trump! Hooray for the Daily Mail Online! My subconscious is annoying. It's got a mind of its own.Comment

As long as you remember the only person Trump cares about is Trump and so far:
1. He's not repealing Obamacare
2. There is no special prosecution going after Hillary
3. He's put his family in government jobs e.g. his transition team
4. He isn't building a wall paid for by Mexico
5. Illegal immigrants who end up in prison are all ready deported"You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment

A glance at his record shows that his 'anti-establishment' credentials are as fluid as his attitude to AGW. You are condoning a candidate simply because of the political position he projects (it is not real), apparently turning a blind eye to his venality, neanderthal misogyny, blatent dishonesty and opportunism. On the basis that 'the enemy of my enemy is my friend', what actually he says or does you admit, is irrelevant.
We're never going to agree on politics, but surely you can see that this debasement is an unhealthy development, whether you favour Marx, the tea party or something in between?
As I said, I hope Trump delivers everything you wish for, and is not impeached in favour of the more 'establishment' Pence around about 2018....Let us not forget EU open doors immigration benefits IT contractors more than anyoneComment

Average Joe off the street does not have a chance - you would think that was a big problem but as the President of the US is merely a puppet then not the important.Comment
