No, you naïve twit. We've been through this - It would just mean we'd be palmed off with staler food.

(Flip me, the CUK web site is clever - It just automatically put two dots over the "i" in n-a-i-v-e. Not sure if I like that though - As a libertarian, I'd rather decide for myself how many dots to use! )

IN so many ways the EU has held us back.
have a look at some of the feedback on it Monsanto seem to have a poor rep amongst farmers. It sounds like a good idea but soon we will be in a situation where Mother nature fights back.

If you would like to let yourself go like the average American then please pay more into the NHS.

I'd much rather see curbs on food waste. Many of the UK supermarkets throw food out because it's the 'wrong shape', which is nothing to do with the EU I might add.

Considering the waste it is rather insulting to other parts of the world we look to produce/consume more.

Another pious virtue signalling liberal cliche soundbite unsupported with any practical ideas of how to deal with the problem

Is that the same Monsanto that is owned by Bayer AG?
No, must be someone else. A GM crop company wouldn't be getting taken over by an EU chemical company.

Anyone that does research on GM crops realises they are only a good idea for the company that owns the "recipe".

Totally with you on that one, just pointing out to the poster that blaming the EU or German chemical companies in this case would be a tad contrary.
