If you understood how much money the industrial military complex makes out of a war you would understand why.

We already have a flood of refugees coming to the UK from the EU and when the EU loses its most dynamic job creating member there will be even more. Only now we will be allowed to build walls around our country

It beats me why our supposedly well advised and intelligent leaders keep doing these things. You can't change societies in a few years, it takes many generations. In some cases the results were totally predictable, did you need to be an expert to know that there would be tensions between Sunnis, Shias and Kurds in Iraq if SH was removed? I recall a chap in the pub telling me that when the war started.

True, SH was one of the nastiest dictators ever but maybe getting him to moderate in return for some heavily disguised bribery would have worked better and been far cheaper.
That's exactly right. Many of my Arab friends advocate dictators for control of the religious factions "back home". Democracy is post-civilisation concept. Before places become civilised it does not work.

Of course, there are many intelligent politicians that know this. But remember, the reason these dictators were toppled was not because of what they may have done wrong to various peoples- that was the excuse - the real reason was the black gold supply was threatened. Understand that if that supply is stopped, many many Americans will die. From the bottom of the food chain up. So, it cannot be allowed to dry up- it's a matter of managing where the blood spills when these essential commodities are threatened.

The middle east is in chaos because its people cannot organise themselves into a civilised democracy. Instead they are ruled by religious dogma which is exploited to spread tyranny amongst its people. When these tyrannies break down needless to say the liberal hypocrites firstly blame the evil West

Which is ironic as most of America would lend itself to alternative fuels and it could cut Oil / Gas use to almost nothing.

You are like a middle class Alf Garnet.

The tyrannies did not break down. They became stronger despite, or as a result of, western intervention.

With the greatest of respect, you have got cause and effect the wrong way around in your analysis.

I won't be arguing with you. I've got to submit my timesheet- direct. No cut for you parasites! The system will eventually flush you down the pan, like the odious turd that you are, holding on to the side of the pan whilst the flush gets increasingly intense. Eventually just a stain and a vague whiff of you remain.
