I keep the larger sums in a different account which I can transfer from in a matter of seconds... and my current account provider text me if I go overdrawn and give me until the end of the day as a grace period before charging any fees (maybe that's a rule in the UK these days?)

Guy goes into a Swiss bank with a briefcase. He goes up to the teller.
Customer: (In a whisper) I'd like to open an account and I've got my initial deposit here.
Teller: No problem. How much would you like to pay in today?
Customer: (Still whispering) Four million francs*
Teller: Certainly sir. And by the way, there's no need to whisper. Poverty isn't shameful in Switzerland.

Got the impression when in Zurich a couple of month ago the people found it expensive themselves. Hear plenty of stories of folks crossing into the German border to shop in Aldi or wherever.
It's great from a tax perspective.
Made the mistake of leaving my DE mobile on roaming. Data was €1 for 50KB
, €50 credit got wiped off in seconds when I accidentally checked my e-mail.

Look - just transfer it over to me once you've paid it in, and I'll look after it for you.
Happy to help.Practically perfect in every way....there's a time and (more importantly) a place for malarkey.
