think it points more to Farage being far from done with UK politics

rather surprisingly stepped down after EU Ref, probably quickly realised that he loves the limelight and loves his ego massaged

he wasn't going to pass up the opportunity that Trump gave him

This was at the end of the piece that was careful to point out that Farage was 'credited' with getting a referendum on the EU (probably true) and that he was the leader of the UKIP 'Leave' campaign (also true).

Lord Sugar, a former member and significant donor of the Labour Party who backed the Remain campaign, tweeted Mr Farage was a "creep" by claiming he won the Brexit vote.

The BBC don't help themselves do they?

If Trump wins Nigel's future is assured, he used some emotive words (to the 'little people').

Compared to Trump he looked a Statesman.

As previously stated I don't actually like the man but if all the press and his detractors can do is pull the tigers tail then he's home and dry (apologies for the split metaphor pedants).

not sure being on a platform with Do-nasty Trump is a good idea for any politician, I suppose if he wins we better get used to the new world order and be nice to racist chunts.
