yes I'm all for sterilisation. but as she is probably suffering from Mental health issues then we can imagine that won't happen as it will be decried as Eugenics.

She can have contraceptive implants put in or a coil so no need for sterilisation. Though they would have to be removed if she has serious side effects. It would take doctors and social workers working together to convince her to try one then the other.

A mother from Newcastle has had 17 children taken from her by a local authority over the last 30 years.

One would rather assume those options have been offered. I think there is a time to decide she isn't going to change. If Implants etc. could be forcibly applied and she would leave them in then great. I somehow doubt it.

We're always hearing the country is facing a demographic crisis because people aren't having enough kids, and hordes of immigrants are allowed into the country because of that.

So what is the problem with someone like this woman choosing to have loads of kids? Seems to me like she's doing sterling work (assuming her kids are not mentally subnormal or something).
