The British government could not possibly accede to these demands if May’s mantra that Brexit means Brexit is to mean anything. Yet the Japanese requests – set out in a 15-page memo – are likely to become the benchmark by which many countries with strong economic ties to the UK will judge the outcome of the talks."

How long to move Japanese production, the skills, the supply chains out of the UK?

What they will do is slow down investment in this country and move it to proper EU countries. In 10 years they will shutdown or sell off local factories since they won't be up to date and too inefficient despite exchange rates being £1 for 0.00001 yen.
