If you're into Canals and the like Marple has a junction and a long and high flight of locks with views over Peak District. Walking along the tow path will get you New Mills where the Swizzles factory is and further onto Bugsworth Basin.Comment

Get to know it better - soon this will be the only place (just about) you can go on holiday.
No more sunny Spain, Portugal, Bulgaria, Greece, France - you will need a visa and visa you will not get.
Just rot peacefully on this fine island.Comment

Buxton is good for a day out. A bit touristy but very pretty.Originally posted by Moose423956 View PostWildboarclough, on the western side, not far from Macclesfield."Being nice costs nothing and sometimes gets you extra bacon" - Pondlife.Comment

things to do in Wildboarclough
Go to the Wincle Beer Company at Wincle, it's about 3 miles away. Go to the Roaches and have a walk down Luds Church. Castleton is also worth a visitOriginally posted by Moose423956 View PostWildboarclough, on the western side, not far from Macclesfield.Comment
