Isn't it time to acknowledge the referendum has been a complete catastrophe?

Way too many in parliament are out of touch with voters. Immigration is a concern. But so is inequality in the UK.

Brexit is a side effect of that.

      Roll on the Japanese model.....

So am I. As they have chosen to remain. It's England that's going places, we're simply choosing not to follow you this time.

I personally think too much is being made, the government have a mandate to renegotiate, someone will be leading that in a couple of months, most probably Boris.

And the appetite for another referendum will grow when Scotland feels the backlash from the economic pain that is surely coming.
The SNP are presenting this as Scotland just taking on the UK's membership. That won't happen. We will have to reapply, take on the Euro and cut public spending by 1700 per person to get to a 3% deficit level required to join. Once that sinks in to the electorate there will be no referendum, it is unwinnable.

It's far too early to say whether this a catastrophe or not.

We are only just into the biggest political upheaval in Europe since the 1940's. Turbulence and general wailing and nashing of teeth are to be expected.

What we need right now is for some political leadership.

We're 4 days into a Brexit and you still think facts are relevant to winning a referendum?
