The Brexit argument seems to be to throw yourself off the nearest cliff because someone said there may be some quicksand ahead.

Actually in ancient Greece they had a rule whereby a politician who proposed a law not then voted in by the assembly was executed!

Actually in ancient Greece they had a rule whereby a politician who proposed a law not then voted in by the assembly was executed!

I liked the idea of the democracy back - the politicians were made up in a similar way to jury service now - elected by a lottery system. No political aspirations or anything, just people asked to do the best job that they can for the country.
