For normal fan behaviour, who would have guessed trouble would have happened

Why not just have a contest to see which nation's fans can beat up the most other nation's fans and scrap all that boring football stuff?

Absolutely. Beating up foreign people is what national pride is really about. Sport is just a PC substitute. Just think how dull history would be if Napoleon had just been a football manager, or Nelson just an Olympic sailor.

England don't normally stay in a tournament for long enough to get thrown out, and tragically I'm getting the same vibe with this one...

            Its been thus since 1974

England fan fighting for his life  and dozens more injured as English fans and Russian thugs clash at Euro 2016 in Marseille

"English fans and Russian thugs clash" - usual unbiased reporting from the Torygraph.

save us a fortune as well especially if the scrotes are imprisoned abroad.
