LOL. Don't get me wrong - all the valley towns are the same. Some of the people who live there are unbelievably stupid and stuck in their ways. There is a fair bit of trouble at times....

Its most definitely a unique place (albeit a bit stuck in time).

I'm originally from a valley town too. Similar to neath. Just as bad.

Never would I live there again - its just a dead end place to be honest. People who refuse to get out and better themselves are one of my bugbears....

(I should say there were other English fans distancing themselves from him). And the tattooed chap just stood there and said in german, or I heard., 'the drink has too much friend, there was no confrontation at all as he helped him stand up after falling badly over to a bench.

      Just so embarrassing.
From a Scotsman The only reason we do not hear of Scottish football violence is because the Scots never manage to reach any major football tournament final

            Dairy Lea triangles!!

When I worked from home for Sun 2004 ish, I used to frequent the David Lloyd in Bolton every day, off peak deal wasn't so bad. Unfortunately almost everytime I went place was filled with Wigan Warriors, mostly bronzed Antipodeans, 2 inch waists and 50 inch chests, plus the inevitable massive dongs.

First saw Rugby League about then, fast passing, impeccable ball handling like it had glue on it, I was hooked after being brought up RU wise in the Billy Beaumont era, i.e. fat bastards.

Things have evened up now of course but given a choice I'd still go RL....
