But isn't that a bit like saying -You're being a bit mean gloating about that guy who just got sent to prison for nicking your car?

No-one forcing the English fans to get into bother....

Those english thugs (not fans) love a conflict. They can't help themselves. 2 or three world cups ago I was in Berlin for the England V's Germany match. A English fan with the St Georges flag draped over his back shouting expletives, Nazi this, history in you face - feck I thought this is going to turn ugly in a hurry as this large German tattooed chap approached with a couple of others. (I should say there were other English fans distancing themselves from him). And the tattooed chap just stood there and said in german, or I heard., 'the drink has too much friend, there was no confrontation at all as he helped him stand up after falling badly over to a bench.

      Just so embarrassing.

Problem is that whereas MOST English fans aren't there to cause trouble, there is still a large amount who do want to cause trouble. Its an English problem. And its a football problem.

Don't get me wrong we have the usual amount of nobheads in wales but take a look at a 6N rugby day in Cardiff. There is very little trouble at all. And this 1/4 million people packed into the pubs very close to the city center.

Thing is the other teams know they can get the English to kick off. Heard some guy on the radio this am saying about how they didnt start it but they were going to defend themselves because this was an English thing to do. He even compared it to the 2nd world war and what would happen if they'd backed down then. Its never going to end with this atttitude.

Comparing Rugby fans with Football fans is like comparing a pineapple with a dildo.

However NLyUK doesn't mind using a pineapple if required.

It's a maturity thing when you get down to it. 'Rise above enough, doesn't enter into the thought process.

I went to South Africa for the world cup. I spent a 20 min period with the England fans drinking in the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town and the atmosphere was horrible. Lots of crude remarks, horrible songs directed at any other nationality, drinking way too much. It was embarrassing and heated. I finished my drink and headed over to every other nation on the planet at the other bars partying together and I had a wonderful trip thanks to avoiding that rabble as much as possible.

The only other time I was forced to spend time with my "own" during the trip is when I went over to Rustenburg for the England v USA game. Same horribleness. Haven't watched England since. They frankly embarrass me the types who travel to the games. Even the ones who could afford to fly out to South Africa where frankly horrible.

But you can't just blame the drink. I've been on rugby trips to Edinburgh. Its packed with Welsh. I've drunk so much there that I thought I was going to kill myself.... Never seen any trouble at all.

All the years watching rugby I have NEVER seen any large scale violence. Obviously, the odd bellend but thats it.

And why can't you compare rugby and football? Like I said, Cardiff 6N day - 1/4 million in the city centre. No trouble. Could never let football fans do this.

Are you sure you ever watched a Rugby match?

Football is a game for chavs. Chavs behave like tulip.

Rugby is not a game for chavs.

                  Cannot explain it better

It is all about Private school manners Vs Government school chavs.

Good to see the England haters have bothered to read the news before mouthing off. No doubt the children being attacked by the Russian 'supporters' were drunk too.

                    You can read can't you?
