Even his surname is a mess. It's like "Lizard", but misspelt and incomplete!

Farage is a mostly polite panelist who allows others to contribute, sometimes he makes valid points. It is a pity you can't see past your prejudice and respect him. I despise Tony B'liar but still admire his skill.

Izzard makes MF look shy & retiring and makes less sense than Suity in a tail spin. He was offensive and stupid.

Other than Pull Farage apart for being an immigrant against immigration Izzards contribution was zero, this debate is the biggest issue to happen to us in our lifetime and it requires meaningful contributions, the stays lost the plot fielding him for QT, it was just lucky for them Hilary Benn was able to hold his own

He's definitely not a polite panelist - he insults members of the audience. UKIP have the problem that only a few members are good enough to be invited to do interviews and panel shows.

Unfortunately Izzard is thinking of becoming a Labour politician e.g. MP, Mayor. If he does then he will be invited to air his political views more. Hopefully by that time Labour will actually have leader who can lead so they won't need to roll out random MPs instead of the leader, shadow chancellor and the rest of the shadow cabinet as required.

I actually quite like Farage's style I thought he puts the points well and directly and will take stuff head on unlike some more political types with their devious answers and the like. I find him quite refreshing. Seems to be a lot more from the people than the other guys that say they are.

Am talking purely about his style and not about what he actually says though.

I wanted someone to ask Hilary Benn why he has a difference of view to his father Tony Benn on Europe.

Oh great - so the whining will continue until October at least.

At passport control yesterday, I was aware I might be using the EU arrivals queue for the last time. Next time I might have queue with Americans!
