He should be hanging from a lampost for that alone (never mind the pension raids etc).

You mean the EU had nothing to do with those two events? I'm shocked.

The UK is obliged to let in any national from an EU state. call it what you like but I do not regard this as being in control of our own badges

'obliged' but doesn't have to. In fact Germany frequently sends other EU citizens back to their EU country of origin.

Even I have the technical nous to look this up

he Free Movement of Persons Directive 2004/38 EC sets out the right of EEA nationals and their family members to move and reside freely within the territory of the EEA Member States. The Immigration (European Economic Area) Regulations 2006 (‘The Regulations’) (as amended) transpose the Free Movement Directive into UK law. The Regulations describe the rights of EEA nationals and their family members to enter and reside in the UK.

Try driving up to the channel tunnel port with a car full of semtex and see how obliged they are to let you in. Go on, I dare you.
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.

Food, money, & jobs. Something the EU continues to develop today for the benefit of all.

                https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United...ferendum,_1975
The February 1974 general election yielded a Labour minority government, which then won a majority in the October 1974 general election. Labour pledged in its February 1974 manifesto to renegotiate the terms of British accession to the EEC, and to then consult the public on whether Britain should stay in the EEC on the new terms if they were acceptable to the government. The Labour Party had traditionally feared the consequences of EEC membership, such as the large differentials between the high price of food under the Common Agricultural Policy and the low prices prevalent in Commonwealth markets, as well as the loss of economic sovereignty and the freedom of governments to engage in socialist industrial policies, and party leaders stated their opinion that the Conservatives had negotiated unfavourable terms for Britain.[2] The EEC heads of government agreed to a deal in Dublin by 11 March 1975; Wilson declared "I believe that our renegotiation objectives have been substantially though not completely achieved", and that the government would recommend a vote in favour of continued membership.

If we list all his henious crimes, we might break the CUK database.

Let's not forget nationalising all the casino banks debt onto the taxpayer, whilst privatising their profits to a select few.

What does that have to do with anything? Are you saying that our immigration rules let anyone in unless they are carrying explosives?
