Yes, I think we've known about this for a while The point is that the analysis from which this originates suggests a significant sampling bias in the phone polls.

I come from an academic background, most of my friends are university profs, and the majority recoil in horror at the thought of leaving the EU. That said, it's surprising how little they know about the mechanics of the EU. They see the funding from Horizon 2020 and the constant flow of Ph.D's and postdocs from overseas and weight these quite highly. Which is fine. But they're no better informed on the EU more generally than the average punter (in many cases worse). Education is a good indicator of voting intention, but it isn't a good indicator of being informed on the topic.

Though you made a statement rather than ask a question.

There is no question whether Osborne had a proper job in his life.

So, Chancellor of the Exchequer never had a proper job in his life. Nice.

What about Cameron? Also not - "After graduation, Cameron worked for the Conservative Research Department between September 1988 and 1993."

But even these two morons know that keeping UK in EU is a better choice.

He didn't enjoy his other temporary jobs, working first as a data inputter for the NHS, which he said involved recording the names of people who had died in London the previous day. He also spent a week in Selfridges, where his job was to pick up the towels that customers had examined but not bought, and re-shelve them, properly folded.
