Let's see...
No cars (those "made" here are all partially or very substantially) imported.
Loads of food items missing from the supermarkets, including a large percentage of the fruit and veg and not an inconsiderable amount of the meat, fish and various other bits and bobs. Same goes for many of the non food items.
Any electricals/electronics retailer shut, nothing to sell.
No fuel for transport.
No fuel for electricity generation.
The list is effectively endless, without imports this country can only survive until the existing stockpiles are gone and those are very limited with Just In Time stockholdings.Comment
